Winston graduated this spring from VCU arts with a major in communication arts with a concentration in VFX. They worked in the Department of English since they were a freshman and took on a number of special projects like the custom illustrated author stickers for Black History Month and Women's History Month.

Sophia Lanctot named 2022 Outstanding English Major

Sophia graduated this May with her BA in English and a minor in creative writing. Her scholarly interests include Victorian, Gothic, and Southern Literature, culminating in a final seminar paper on queer desire and gender transformation in Edgar Allan Poe’s The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym.
